The percent of aggregate, which passes through each sieve size but would be retained on the next smaller size, should be entered on the Laboratory Measurements Dialog. The percents passing should total to 100 for both the fine and coarse aggregate. The user can select whether to specify volumetric percentages or percentages by weight.
When the Laboratory Measurements Dialog is first brought up for a mix, the percent passing fine aggregate 0.6mm (No. 30) sieve is set to the Fine Aggregate Grading of the mix and the percents passing the coarse aggregate sieve sizes are set to typical values for well-graded aggregate.
