Importing a .tdt File

The .tdt file is a CSV File which contains data for both the Batches Table and Test Strength Table. It has the following fields:

• Batch Ref
• Date
• Test Specimen Strength 1
• Test Specimen Strength 2
• Test Specimen Strength 3 (if empty, strength input as 0)
• Slump
• Air Content (%)
• Temperature Deg C

as in the following example.

All the entries must have the same Mix, Project and Test Age details, which should already have been entered in the Projects Table, Mixes Table and Test Ages Table.

To enter the data into the Batches and Test Strengths Tables you should:

• edit the file so that it has the format described above
• rename the file to end in .tdt
• run FirstBreak and select the Import .tdt file item from the Operations menu
• Open the file in the File Open Dialog which will appear
• Select the Mix, Project and Test Age Refs for the data on the dialog that will appear

The data will then be added to the data base. If the Batch Ref does not match a Ref already in the Batches Table, a new entry is added to the Batches Table. Contrariwise if the Batch Ref matches a Ref already in the Batch Table, the Batches Table is not changed.
